Christian Perera is a seasoned hardware engineer with extensive experience in the design and development of advanced technological products. Currently a Senior Hardware Engineer at Cisco Systems since July 2010, Christian has contributed to the design team for Cisco UCS B-Series Blade Servers and previously worked on Nexus 5000 and 6000 Series switches. Prior to Cisco, Christian served as a Senior Hardware Engineer at Alloptic, developing products for the GEPON market, and held similar roles at Alvarion Ltd., Interwave Communications, and GBase Communications, focusing on hardware solutions for various telecommunications applications. Christian earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Ryerson University between 1996 and 2000.
