Darren Orloff

Darren Orloff is a seasoned software engineering leader currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Cisco, where they oversee cable network software engineering and customer engagement for broadband data service deployments. Previously, Darren held key roles at Ericsson, Qualcomm, and NextWave Broadband, specializing in CDMA and WiMAX systems integration and testing. With extensive international experience, they have managed virtual teams across multiple countries and possess a robust background in embedded firmware, PC application software development, and communication standards. Darren earned a B.S. in Math/Computer Science and both a B.S. and M.Eng. in Computer & Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
