Dattatri Mattur

Dattatri Mattur has extensive experience in engineering leadership, having served as Vice President of Engineering for Cisco's Web and Provider Connectivity Group from January 2014 to December 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing a team focused on the Cisco 8000 Series Web Scale Switching and Routing Platforms. Prior to this role, Dattatri held the position of Senior Director of Engineering in the Cloud and Compute Group, leading the hardware engineering organization for UCS Rack, Blade, and Specialized Servers, and developing strategic roadmaps aligned with long-term company priorities. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Engineering for the Security Business, managing a cross-functional team across various engineering disciplines. Dattatri’s professional journey began at I2P Inc as a Sr. Member Technical Staff, contributing to the IP core development team. Educational credentials include an Executive Program in Engineering Leadership from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University.
