David Visick has extensive experience in the field of network engineering and solution architecture, currently serving as the Sr. Director for Solution Engineering focusing on Global Industrial IoT Specialists at Cisco since September 2005. Prior to this role, David held various positions at Cisco including Director of Solutions Architecture for both the Americas Industrial IoT and SD-WAN Specialists, and Sr. Manager of Systems Engineering. David's earlier career includes roles as Sr. Network Architect and Sr. Network Engineer at the University of California, San Diego, and as System Administrator at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Science (Honors) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Honors), both from UC San Diego, and briefly attended The University of Edinburgh.
