Emil Mkhitaryan is an experienced engineer specializing in physical design and hardware engineering, with a strong background in SRAM memory design and chip-level physical design (PD). Emil began career at Synopsys as an intern CAD in 2012, progressing to a Junior CAD Engineer at Memoir Systems, where expertise in QA for foundry PDKs and layout design was developed. At Cisco from 2019 to 2022, Emil served as Hardware Engineering Tech Lead, leading chip-level PD and sign-off for high-performance Ethernet switches, and later took on roles including Sr. Manager and Senior Hardware Engineer, focusing on hierarchical PD planning and vendor collaboration. Emil holds a Master's degree in Very Large Scale Integrated Circuits Design from the State Engineering University of Armenia.
