Éric Vyncke

Éric Vyncke is currently the Internet Area Director at the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and a Distinguished Engineer at Cisco. With a specialization in IPv6, network security, and project management, they have played a significant role in helping advance technological standards and practices. Éric served as Chief Technical Officer and Co-Chairman of the IPv6 Council in Belgium, and has contributed extensively to academia as an adjunct professor at HEC Liège. Their career includes expertise in R&D and project management at various tech companies, alongside authoring influential publications in network security. Éric also holds a Private Pilot License and maintains involvement in aviation as an administrator at the Royal Aéro Para Club de Spa.
