Evan Viau

Evan Viau is currently the Senior Manager of Government Affairs at Cisco, where they focus on advancing tech and telecom legislation. Previously, Evan worked as a Legislative Clerk and then as Professional Staff for the Communications and Technology Subcommittee of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. They also served as a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Evan founded the Michigan Foreign Policy Council to mentor students in foreign policy research and develop their professional skills. Their research interests included energy policy and mental health challenges among veterans and civilians.
