Gal Bashan is a Senior Engineering Leader with a passion for driving business-focused technology solutions. They joined Epsagon as the first employee, scaling the engineering organization from 1 to 40 developers and leading it through a successful $500M acquisition by Cisco. Previously, Gal worked as an R&D Team Leader at Israeli Military Intelligence. Currently, they serve as the Director of Engineering at Cisco, focusing on the development of AI security and ASPM products within the CNAPP platform. Gal holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel.
