Gary Stuebing

Gary Stuebing is an experienced professional in engineering and standards within the Internet of Things (IoT) sector, currently serving as Director of Engineering for IoT Standards at Cisco since May 2012. In this role, Gary leads efforts in standards bodies, alliances, and regulatory activities related to Cisco's IoT initiatives. Additional leadership positions include chairing corporate advisory groups within IEEE, presiding over AVnu Alliance, and active involvement as a board member in various organizations such as LoRa Alliance and Wi-Sun. Gary has also held roles in the International Electrotechnical Commission and UCAIug OpenSG, demonstrating extensive expertise in standardization processes across multiple sectors, including automotive electrotechnics and smart grid networks. Gary's foundational education was completed at St. Jeromes from 1966 to 1970.
