Hasith K.

Hasith K. serves as the Director of Platform Engineering and Chief Information Security Officer at Outshift by Cisco, leading various initiatives encompassing Developer Experience, Infrastructure, Platform as a Service (PaaS), Observability, and Site Reliability Engineering. With a career at Cisco beginning in September 2009, Hasith has held several leadership positions, including Principal Engineer in the Webex CTO Office and Director of Webex Cloud Native Platform Engineering, where an international team was directed to enhance the Webex platform. Hasith's engineering prowess is further demonstrated through early roles in engineering leadership, software development, and testing within the TelePresence team. Educational credentials include an Executive MBA from Imperial College Business School and an MEng in Electronic Systems Engineering from The University of Manchester. Currently, Hasith is also an Advisory Board Member at Be the Business.
