Jie Cao

Jie Cao is the Director of Business Operations at Cisco, leading the Chief Privacy Office to drive compliance with privacy standards while focusing on privacy assessments and risk management. With extensive experience in data protection, business strategies, and operations across diverse global markets, Jie has a proven track record of managing high-profile partnerships and governmental relations. Prior to their current role, Jie held various positions within Cisco, including Director of Data Protection and Privacy, and has also worked with IBM and McKinsey & Company. Jie holds multiple degrees, including a BA in German and German Literature from Peking University, an MA in Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and an MS in Computer Science from SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
