Jim Kardos is currently the Director of AI Engineering at Cisco, where they lead pioneering efforts in GenAI Networking Automation. Previously, Jim served as a Group Engineering Manager at Microsoft, directing a team that developed the Outlook Copilot Service and significantly enhancing email management through generative AI technologies. They also held various leadership roles at Amazon, where Jim contributed to innovative projects like AWS EventBridge and Alexa Voice Shopping. Earlier in their career, Jim worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting and began their journey as a Software Engineer at Raytheon. Jim earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
