Joshua Matheus serves as the Vice President & Chief Portfolio Strategist at Cisco since September 2025, where leadership involves guiding a global team of technology experts to provide strategic and technical solutions for customers. Prior to this role, Joshua held various significant positions at Goldman Sachs from November 2000 to September 2025, including Global Head of Network and Workplace Engineering, contributing to the development of advanced computing and collaboration solutions. Joshua is also recognized for founding GS-Accelerate PINACL, an automated security and policy orchestration system that was acquired by Cisco. Additional board member roles have been held at Forward Networks, Inc., AMD Pensando, Open Compute Project Foundation, Vapor IO, Open Networking Foundation, and Barefoot Networks. Joshua earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Marist University between 1995 and 1999.
