Kevin Cao is currently the Director of Hardware Engineering at Cisco, a position held since 2024. They previously contributed to the semiconductor industry, having served as a Physical Design Lead and Technical Manager at TSMC from 2017 to 2018, and as a Sr. Manager of Physical Design at Marvell Semiconductor from 2006 to 2017. With earlier experience as an Engineer at Qualcomm and Integrated Device Technology, Kevin holds a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University, obtained in 2007, as well as a Master’s degree from the University of Minnesota, earned in 2000.
