Li Chen

Li Chen is a Principal Engineer in silicon photonics at Cisco, following their tenure at Acacia Communications. They have held positions as a Senior Integrated Photonic Engineer and Senior Silicon Photonic Engineering Technical Leader at Cisco before advancing to their current role. Chen’s career began with a strong academic foundation, earning a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University and further refining their skills as a Research Assistant at UC Davis. With extensive experience in integrated optics and silicon photonics, Chen has contributed significantly to the development of advanced optical interconnects and various production silicon photonic integrated circuits.
