Lukas B. is a Sr. Machine Learning Researcher at Cisco since February 2018, focusing on the development of graph models for malware identification through network traffic analysis and leading the research within the Global models team of the Cognitive Intelligence group in Prague. Previously, Lukas worked as a Machine Learning Researcher in the Anomaly Detection team at Cognitive Intelligence, specializing in detecting specific network hosts. From February 2014 to July 2018, Lukas served as a lecturer at Unicorn College, teaching courses on algorithms, data structures, graph algorithms, and networking and operating systems. Prior experience includes a PhD candidacy at the Institute of Computer Science Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic from October 2010 to February 2018, and educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Charles University and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Charles University, along with a period of study at the University of Turku.
