Matthew Heinze

Matthew Heinze, CISSP, has a robust career in information security, beginning as a Systems Administrator at Hospitality Partners, Inc. from 2000 to 2001. Matthew gained valuable experience at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2003 to 2015, serving as a Senior Systems Administrator and Computing Consultant before transitioning to the role of Information Security Specialist between September 2014 and August 2015. Matthew further advanced in the field at Cisco, starting as an Information Security Engineer in July 2015, progressing to Senior Information Security Engineer at Cisco CSIRT, and currently serving as a Threat Hunting Analyst since April 2022. Matthew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, obtained in 2000.
