Matthew Robertson

Matthew Robertson is a distinguished engineer at Cisco Systems with extensive experience in the network security industry, specializing in security analytics, threat defense, and cryptography. They began their career as a research assistant at the University of Waterloo, focusing on user and data authentication before developing a peer-to-peer encrypted VOIP solution. Matthew has held various technical marketing roles at Cisco, including lead positions for the Stealthwatch product line and network and cloud security analytics. Currently, they serve as a Distinguished Technical Marketing Engineer, dedicated to threat detection and response.
