Matthew Starr

Matthew Starr is a Senior Director of Employee Experience Research and AI at Cisco, where they focus on creating compelling user experiences that inspire and engage in hybrid work environments. Previously, Matthew held various academic roles, including adjunct professor positions and served as a research scientist and lab manager at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. With extensive experience in UX, data science, and team management, Matthew has also worked at IBM, leading significant initiatives in user experience and digital design. Matthew earned a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Binghamton University and holds a post-doctoral fellowship from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
