Mauro MacChi

Mauro Macchi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales operations and technical management within the telecommunications sector. Since May 2011, Mauro has held various director-level positions at Cisco, including Director of Sales Operations responsible for pre-sales technical operations for major clients like Telefonica and TIM, as well as leading a pre-sales technical team for global franchises. Prior roles at Cisco included Director of Product Marketing for the EMEA region and involvement in the EMEAR Service Provider Infrastructure Architecture team. Prior to Cisco, Mauro served as Head of Packet Optical Product Management at Juniper Networks and held significant roles in R&D and management at Pirelli and TIM. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master in Telecom Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
