Michael Blaisdell is currently the Director and Associate General Counsel for Competition at Cisco. They previously served as a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice from 2020 to 2023 and as an Attorney at the Federal Trade Commission from 2014 to 2020. Earlier in their career, Michael worked as an Associate at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP from 2010 to 2014 and was a Law Clerk for the Judiciary Committee of the United States Senate in 2007. They began their legal journey with a legal internship at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative from 2009 to 2010 and earned their law degree from Georgetown University Law Center from 2006 to 2009.
