Michael Brooks has extensive experience in engineering and management roles, primarily at Cisco, where since April 1999, Michael has served as Sr. Manager for Advanced Thermal Solutions and Component Quality & Technology. In this dual role, Michael leads cross-functional teams in developing innovative thermal solutions and liquid cooling capabilities. Michael founded a global Mechanical/Thermal technology SME team, achieving over $100M in cost savings and implementing Six Sigma process improvements. Previous positions include Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Harmonic Lightwaves and Bay Networks, and Manufacturing Engineer at Rockwell Semiconductor and Intel Corporation, where Michael focused on operational efficiency and product introduction. Michael holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Systems Engineering from the University of Regina.
