Michael Hemes

Michael Hemes is an attorney with a passion for technology and innovation, currently serving as Principal Corporate Counsel at Cisco. They earned a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and have practiced a diverse range of intellectual property law across several firms. Previously, Michael has held associate positions at Perkins Coie LLP and Kirkland & Ellis, where they focused on technology transactions and privacy. Their early experiences include roles at GE Healthcare and internships at the University of Minnesota's Office for Technology Commercialization. Additionally, Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
