Michael Philips

Michael Philips currently serves as VP, Legal & Deputy General Counsel at Cisco since July 2023. Previously, Philips held the position of VP and Deputy General Counsel at Truveta from March 2022 to July 2023. Notable experience at Microsoft Corporation spanned from January 1999 to January 2020, where Philips served as Assistant General Counsel in various roles that included supporting M&A, leading legal counsel for Microsoft's Office of Responsible AI, and managing legal teams for Microsoft's Search Products and Services and Interactive Entertainment Business Hardware divisions. Philips began a legal career as an Associate at Preston Gates & Ellis LLP from September 1994 to October 1999.
