Michael Walthers

Michael Walthers is a Senior Technical Project Manager at Cisco, specializing in delivering complex IT infrastructure programs within Department of Defense environments. Previously, Walthers served as the Director of Global Network Operations Center at Nexagen Networks, overseeing cybersecurity and network operations for over 20,000 users, and held a role as Chief Knowledge Officer with the U.S. Army-5th Signal Command, where they implemented a comprehensive knowledge management system. Walthers directed significant IT initiatives throughout their career, including a $30M IT infrastructure project and major OS migrations for the U.S. Army. Currently, Walthers is pursuing a Master of Science in IT Management at Western Governors University and studying Computer Science at the University of Maryland College Park.
