Michal Mareš

Michal Mareš is a Machine Learning Engineer at Cisco, specializing in developing models to protect organizations from email threats. Previously, they worked as a Data Scientist at Galytix, focusing on AI integration into data platforms and implementing LLM assistants. Michal has also held roles in research and development, notably at iC Systems.ai, where they contributed to the development of neural networks on Raspberry Pi. They completed a Master's degree in Open Informatics with a focus on Artificial Intelligence at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, where they also earned a Bachelor's degree in Cybernetics and Robotics. In their spare time, Michal enjoys playing guitar, attending concerts, and engaging in outdoor activities like climbing and running.
