Mike Hall

Mike Hall is a seasoned engineering executive currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Cisco since September 2024. Previously, Mike held the position of Distinguished Engineer at Broadcom Software following its acquisition of VMware, where from September 2015 to November 2023, Mike was a Principal Engineer and played a key role in launching the company's first business unit focused on modern application systems, contributing to the development of vSphere Integrated Containers. Prior experience includes a tenure as Distinguished Engineer II at Juniper Networks, where Mike was instrumental in the Architecture team and founded the Austin Innovation Center. Earlier career highlights feature a distinguished role at Cisco Systems, where Mike was responsible for the architecture and quality of various security products while contributing to market strategy as part of the security leadership team. Mike holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
