Mike Owen

Mike Owen has extensive experience in network engineering and solutions support, spanning multiple high-profile technology companies. Beginning as a Systems Engineer at Cisco Systems from 2000 to 2004, Mike later advanced to a Network Engineer position at Microsoft from 2006 to 2012, where responsibilities included the design and maintenance of a large-scale network for SQL Server development. Subsequently, Mike held the role of Senior Network Engineer at Microsoft from 2012 until 2025, focusing on network design and implementation for a global lab environment. Mike's consulting work included a position at BT Global Services from 2005 to 2006 and training roles at Native6 as an IPv6 Trainer/Engineer. Currently, Mike serves as a Solutions Engineer at Cisco, supporting Microsoft. Mike holds a degree in English and Computer Science from the University of Washington.
