Mike Serra

Mike Serra is a Senior Counsel specializing in Cybersecurity and National Security at Cisco, where they advise product teams on global regulatory compliance and develop implementation plans to meet customer expectations. Previously, Mike served as Senior Product Counsel, focusing on Cisco's cloud-based cybersecurity offerings, and has made significant contributions in the legal aspects of cybersecurity and technology, evidenced by their speaking engagements at the RSA cybersecurity conference and publications in reputable law journals. Their earlier experiences include internships with the United States Senate and the U.S. District Court, as well as a role as a Senior Associate Attorney at Bodman PLC, where they provided counsel on intellectual property and compliance matters. Mike holds a law degree from Wayne State University Law School, where they were also involved with the Wayne Law Review.
