Oystein Damhaug

Oystein Damhaug is an experienced product design engineer with a strong background in electronics, specializing in camera-based interactive technologies. Oystein began a career at New Index AS, where significant contributions were made to the research and development of interactive whiteboards from February 2003 to June 2011. This expertise was further utilized at Epson as a product design engineer for a brief period in July 2011, focusing on systems architecture. Oystein has been with Cisco since May 2018, serving as a Technical Leader in Electronics R&D and previously as a Product Design Engineer, leading the design of Telepresence camera modules and systems from 2012 to 2017. Oystein holds a Master’s Degree in Electronics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, completed between 1997 and 2002.
