Prashanth Arun

Prashanth Arun is currently the Director of Data Science at Cisco and has held the position of Head of Data Science at Armorblox since 2019. At Armorblox, they have specialized in the application of Transformers and large language models to threat and spam email classification, achieving significant breakthroughs including the first LLM model shipped in 2019. Prashanth has also focused on training foundational LLMs on email data, implementing semantic search and retrieval at scale, and enhancing security through deep learning anomaly detection models. Their work has enabled the rapid and efficient classification of text for over a billion emails per month.
