Sharon Tom is a seasoned network engineer and security expert with extensive experience in the technology sector. Beginning a career at Capgemini from March 2009 to September 2012 as a Network Engineer in the Cisco TAC, Sharon progressed to significant roles at Cisco from May 2014 to July 2022, including Manager of the Security Technical Leader team and Manager of various support teams for VPN and Cisco Identity Services. Additionally, Sharon led engineering efforts for Coke Enterprise across different telecommunications companies, including Telkom South Africa and Verizon. Prior expertise as a Consultant was gained while at HCL Technologies from October 2012 to September 2014. Sharon holds a B-tech degree in Electronics & Communication from the University of Calicut, completed in 2008.
