Shigeru Kimura is the National Cyber Security Advisor and Lead of the Cyber Security Center of Excellence in Japan at Cisco Systems, a position held since 2024. Previously, Shigeru was a Product Specialist Systems Engineer for Security, among other roles, at Cisco from 2000 to 2010, and served as an Engineer for IT, Internet, Network, and Information Security at Komatsu from 1995 to 2000. Currently pursuing an education in electronic engineering at Chuo University, Shigeru is also an accomplished author with several publications in the field of network security.
