Stéphane Vinet

Stéphane Vinet is a Quantum Research Scientist currently working as a Technical Leader in Quantum Networking at Cisco. They earned a PhD in Physics with a focus on Quantum Information from the University of Waterloo, where research involved next-generation quantum communication networks. Prior to this, Stéphane obtained a Master’s degree in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from Université de Montréal, studying the dynamics of quantum spin chains, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Chicago. They also held research positions at the Institute for Quantum Computing, Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering, and McGill University, contributing to various projects in quantum optics and information.
