Steve Clayton is a seasoned communications leader at Microsoft with over 25 years of experience, currently serving as Vice President of Microsoft Communications Strategy since July 2010. In this role, Steve collaborates with the CEO and senior leadership to shape communication strategies related to acquisitions, leadership transitions, and company culture. Previously, Steve held various key positions at Microsoft, including Vice President of Global Public Affairs, where leadership of a 35+ person team encompassed media relations and executive communications, and Chief Storyteller, overseeing storytelling initiatives and digital content strategies. Steve's early career at Microsoft included roles as Director of Global Cloud Strategy and CTO of the Microsoft Partner Team, following experience at AstraZeneca as Global Intranet Strategist. Steve holds a 1st Class Honours degree in Information and Computing from Loughborough University.
