Steve Lang

Steve Lang is the Director of Security Engineering at Cisco, a position held since 2020. Prior to this, they accumulated extensive experience in software and program management roles at Cisco Systems from 2009 to 2014, focusing on adapting communications solutions for government requirements. They began their career as a Computer Scientist at Annapolis Micro Systems from 2000 to 2007 and previously participated in cooperative education at COMSAT Laboratories from 1998 to 2000. Lang holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech. Additionally, they serve as the President of the Board of Directors at The Meridian Plaza HPR, a position they have held since 2023.
