Tarun Gupta

Tarun Gupta is an accomplished engineering leader specializing in ASIC development and mixed-signal engineering, with extensive experience in both leadership and design roles. At Cisco, Tarun Gupta serves as VP of ASIC Development and previously held the position of Director of Engineering. Prior to Cisco, Tarun Gupta was AVP of Mixed-Signal Engineering at Acacia Communications, which is now part of Cisco. Tarun Gupta's career also includes significant contributions at AppliedMicro, where roles included VP Mixed-Signal Design and AVP Mixed-Signal Design, alongside a formative position as Principal Analog Design Engineer at Teranetics. The early career began at Silicon Laboratories as a Design Engineer. Tarun Gupta holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
