Ted Bedwell

Ted Bedwell is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Distinguished Engineer at Cisco since October 2013, Ted has previously held prominent roles such as Principal Engineer and Senior Manager in the Security Technology Group. Prior to Cisco, Ted worked at Sourcefire from 2004 to October 2013, where contributions included serving as Director of Product Development and Development Manager. Earlier positions at Savvis Communications, Cable & Wireless, Exodus Communications, and Clark Internet provided a solid foundation in systems integration and network operations. Ted holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, completed in 1999 and 1997, respectively.
