Timo Pfau is a Principal Engineer at Cisco, where they have been contributing since 2021. Previously, they held the position of Principal DSP Designer at Acacia Communications Inc. from 2015 to 2021 and were a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories from 2009 to 2014. Timo began their academic journey at the University of Paderborn, earning a Dr.-Ing. degree while also serving as a Research Assistant from 2005 to 2009. They completed a Diplom-Ingenieur degree at Universität Stuttgart from 1999 to 2005.
