Tom Vail is the Global Solutions Engineering Director for SASE, SD-WAN, and Routing at Cisco, where they lead a high-performing global team to innovate and align solutions with customer needs in a cloud-first environment. Previously, Tom served as a Systems Engineering Leader and Technical Solutions Architect at Cisco, transforming public sector business outcomes through advanced technology solutions. With a background as a Senior Network Engineer at Cabela's and extensive roles at various organizations, Tom has cultivated expertise in network engineering, IT security, and solutions architecture. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Chadron State College and are currently pursuing an Associate of Arts at Morgan Community College.
