Troy Lu

Troy Lu is a seasoned thermal engineer with over 16 years of experience at major companies such as Cisco, Honeywell, and Maxtor, specializing in thermal design and testing for IT products. Currently serving as a Mechanical Engineering Technical Leader at Cisco, they are responsible for overseeing the thermal aspects of the Cisco Catalyst 9500 and 9600 series. Troy holds a Doctor and Master's degree in Thermal and Mechanical Engineering from the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China. They are also a Six Sigma Green Belt certified professional with expertise in thermal simulation, automation using Python, and various FEA applications.
