Zohar Kaufman is currently the Director of Engineering at Cisco, where they manage the development of cloud-native security products following the acquisition of Portshift, a company Zohar co-founded and served as VP of R&D from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, Zohar was the VP of R&D and co-founder at CTERA Networks, leading a team to enhance data management for enterprises from 2008 to 2018. Earlier in their career, Zohar held the position of VP of R&D at SofaWare, where they played a key role in the company's acquisition by Check Point in 2011. Zohar also served as a Group Manager in Unit 8200, an elite intelligence unit of the IDF, from 1994 to 2000, where they focused on software development and cybersecurity. Currently, Zohar is pursuing a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics, as well as an MBA in Finance and Marketing at Tel Aviv University.
