Esther Hwang

Esther Hwang, CPA has a diverse range of work experience in accounting and finance. Esther started their career as a Staff Accountant at Peter H Jung & Associates in 2003, where they performed various tasks such as bank reconciliation, bookkeeping, and tax preparation for small businesses. From 2004 to 2006, Esther worked as a Staff Accountant at Deva & Associates, P.C., where they gained experience working on-site for government agencies such as the US Patent and Trademark Office, Securities & Exchange Commission, and off-site for the US Housing and Urban Development. Esther generated budget reports, reviewed court judgments, and maintained fixed asset schedules during their time there. In 2007, they joined Reznick Group as a Staff Accountant, where they managed trial balances, prepared tax returns, and handled payroll and sales tax matters for small business clients. Esther then moved on to Lerner Enterprises in 2015, where they worked as a Tax Accountant and prepared income tax returns for partnerships, S-Corporations, and individuals. Esther also supervised and reviewed tax returns prepared by new hires. In 2019, Esther became a Project Accountant at Buchanan Partners, where they performed general ledger analysis, reconciled accounts, and prepared financial reporting packages for real estate development and investment entities. Currently, Esther is serving as a Senior Revenue Accountant at Cision since 2021. In this role, they are responsible for analyzing revenue fluctuations, reviewing junior accountants' work, and managing the comparison review between the contract site and accounting database. Throughout their career, Esther has consistently demonstrated their expertise in accounting and finance, making their a valuable asset in any organization.

Esther Hwang, CPA holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland. In addition, they have obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the State of Maryland in November 2017.
