Matt Royack

Matt Royack has extensive work experience in the legal field. Matt currently holds the position of General Counsel at Cision since April 2022. Prior to this role, they served as Deputy General Counsel at Cision and Associate General Counsel at Cision from January 2021 to February 2021 and from July 2016 to February 2021, respectively. Before joining Cision, they worked as a Corporate Counsel at Inovalon from December 2014 to July 2016. Additionally, they have held positions as Counsel at Oracle in October to December 2014 and Staff Attorney at MICROS Systems Inc. (acquired by Oracle) from May 2013 to October 2014. Earlier in their career, they were an Associate Attorney at Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf & Hendler, LLC from September 2011 to May 2013 and an Associate at Freeman, Wolfe & Greenbaum, P.A. from January 2008 to September 2011. In these roles, they gained experience in negotiating and preparing legal contracts, representing clients in business and real estate transactions, and handling general contract matters.

Matt Royack completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Maryland, attending from 2000 to 2004. Matt then pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Business Law from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Their education prior to college was obtained at Somerville High School, however, specific dates and degrees earned have not been provided.
