Rob Boldon

Sr. Director, Software Engineering at Cision

Rob Boldon has extensive work experience in software engineering and technology leadership roles. Rob most recently served as the Director of Software Engineering at Cision since April 2022. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director of Software Engineering at Krames, a brand under Internet Brands, where they worked from September 2020 to April 2022.

Before joining Krames, Rob held the position of VP Technology at StayWell from December 2019 to September 2020. Rob also served as the Director of Application Development at StayWell from February 2018 to December 2019.

Rob's earlier career includes roles at EHS Sustainability as a Senior Manager of Software Development from January 2011 to February 2018, and as a Manager of Software Development from January 2010 to December 2010. Rob also worked at PureSafety as a Content Development Manager from January 2009 to December 2009 and as an Application Developer from October 2005 to December 2008.

Prior to that, Rob worked at NCC Financial as a Technical Lead from June 2003 to October 2005, at ACNielsen Canada as a Senior Software Developer from July 2002 to May 2003, at Compuware Corporation as a Technical Consultant from November 2000 to May 2002, and at SmartForce as a Web Developer and Team Lead from May 1999 to November 2000.

Rob Boldon obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the University of New Brunswick, which they attended from 1989 to 1994. After completing their undergraduate degree, they pursued further education in Information Technology. From 1998 to 1999, Rob attended the Information Technology Institute and obtained an AIT (Advanced Information Technology) degree in the field of Information Technology.

Additionally, Rob Boldon has obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in December 2015.
