Selcuk Cosan

Selcuk Cosan has diverse work experience in the field of network engineering and IT. Selcuk began their career at Submarine Training Center Commandership as an Information Technology Officer in 1998. Selcuk then worked as a System Engineer and Software Developer at Karapanca Gida Ltd Sti from 1999 to 2004. From 2004 to 2005, they served as an IT System and Network Engineer at ATV (Turkey).

In 2006, Selcuk joined Spin Teknoloji İletişim Sistemleri Ticaret A.Ş. as a Senior Network Engineer, providing network, security, and voice equipment solutions to small and medium enterprises. Selcuk offered pre-sales network engineering support and installation and configuration services for various equipment.

Selcuk gained extensive experience at Nortel Networks from 2007 to 2017. Selcuk started as a Netas - Network Infrastructure Senior Engineer, responsible for the installation, commissioning, deployment, and support of Nortel equipment. Selcuk also took on the role of Test Environment Manager, managing hardware, software, and testing activities within the lab. During their tenure, they deployed and configured network devices, implemented security measures, and managed IP address resources.

In 2017, Selcuk worked as a Contract Network Engineer at Semafone, where they played a crucial role in designing and building a new data center. Selcuk successfully migrated network and security devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and UTM solutions.

Selcuk continued their career as a Contract Network Engineer at Ericsson from 2018 to 2019, contributing to network engineering projects. Selcuk then joined Sky in 2019, where they worked as a Contract Network Engineer.

From 2020 to 2021, Selcuk served as an F5 Professional Services Consultant (Contract) at F5. Selcuk contributed to various projects, including deploying and configuring F5 solutions, migration from Radware LB to F5 BIG-IP, and implementing authentication and security measures.

Most recently, Selcuk joined Cision in 2022 as a Contract Network Engineer, utilizing their skills and expertise in network engineering.

Throughout their career, Selcuk has gained experience in network design, deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and migration. Selcuk has expertise in various technologies, including F5 LTM, APM, AFM, DNS, ASM, VNF, APM Authentication, SAML Integration, OAuth, MFA, F5 Web Proxy, AFM with IP Intelligence, BGP, OSPF, CGNAT, NAT64, Cisco dynamic routing integration, VMware VDI deployment, and Microsoft Forefront TMG configuration.

Selcuk Cosan attended Trakya University from 1992 to 1996, where they studied Computer Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career. Some of these certifications include F5 Certified Technology Specialist in ASM (F5-CTS-ASM) from F5 in May 2023, F5 Certified Technology Specialist in APM (F5-CTS-APM) from F5 in November 2021, and F5 Certified Technology Specialist in LTM (F5-CTS-LTM) from F5 in January 2020. Others include PCNSE7 Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer from Palo Alto Networks in July 2017, Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE) 8.0 from Palo Alto Networks in June 2017, Cisco CCNA Security from Cisco in May 2017, and Cisco CCIE R&S Written from Cisco in December 2013. Additionally, Selcuk obtained the Cisco CCNP certification in June 2009 and the Cisco CCNA certification in May 2004.
