Shane Mathews is currently the Director of Engineering at Cision, focusing on data indexing, storage, and load for the Brandwatch Platform. Prior to this role, Shane worked at Brandwatch from 2016 to 2024, serving as a Senior Software Engineer and later as a Senior Engineering Manager. Shane has extensive experience in programming, having held various positions at Irrational Games and oneZero Financial Systems, where they contributed to significant projects such as Bioshock Infinite and a Foreign Exchange Liquidity Bridge. Shane earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics from Digipen Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Data Analytics at Stonehill College.
