Shane Williams

Shane Williams has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Shane currently holds a position at Cision as the Director of Sales Development, a role they have been in since February 2023. Prior to this, they were a Senior Manager of Sales Development at Cision from April 2022 to February 2023. Shane also worked as a Sales Development Manager at Cision from June 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining Cision, Shane worked at GoHealth as a Sales Manager from June 2020 to May 2021. Shane also had a tenure at Groupon, starting as a Business Development Representative in November 2016 and eventually becoming a Business Development Manager from September 2017 to June 2019. In this role, they generated significant revenue and achieved recognition for their performance within the Health, Beauty, & Wellness organization. Shane also mentored Business Development Representatives and received leadership training.

Shane gained experience in the sports industry as well, with positions at RMG Baseball as the Associate Director of Baseball Operations from May 2016 to November 2016, and as a Baseball Operations Intern from April 2015 to April 2016. Shane also had a role at Loras College Athletic Communications as an Athletic Communications Assistant from May 2014 to May 2015, and as an Intramural Intern from August 2013 to May 2014.

During their career, Shane also had various internship positions, including with the Burlington Bees Baseball Association as a Summer Intern from May 2014 to August 2014, with the Dubuque Fighting Saints as an Intern from September 2012 to December 2012, and with the Cedar Rapids Kernels as a Concessions Manager from April 2011 to August 2012.

Shane Williams completed their Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management from Loras College, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In 2017, they pursued higher education and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Concordia University Chicago, which they completed in 2018. Additionally, Shane obtained a certification as a Certified Wrestling Official from the Illinois High School Association in May 2020.
