Taylor James

Taylor James has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and engineering. They most recently worked as a Sr. Platform Developer Lead at Cision since February 2021. Prior to that, they held positions at Red Hat as a Senior Engineer and Technical Architect from July 2018 to 2020, and at iCiDIGITAL as a Software Engineer from February 2017 to July 2018.

They also have experience as a Software Developer at Principled Technologies from January 2015 to February 2017, and as a Software Engineer at iCiDIGITAL from May 2014 to December 2014. At iCiDIGITAL, they specialized in Adobe Web Experience Manager (AEM/CQ5) development, Android programming, and Content Management Systems research and evaluation.

Before that, James worked at Siemens Energy from May 2010 to May 2014. During this time, they served as an IT Business Analyst and Developer, focusing on web development using Apex, Visualforce, Javascript, SOQL, PHP, and VBA. They also handled requirements gathering and customer support for Siemens employees using Salesforce.

James began their career as a Resident Mentor at North Carolina State University from August 2009 to May 2010.

Taylor James completed their high school education at Central Cabarrus High School from 2004 to 2008. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering at North Carolina State University from 2008 to 2014.
