Jim Baumgartner is an experienced IT risk and compliance specialist serving as the Director of Internal Audit at CIT since January 2003, where responsibilities include developing the IT audit plan and overseeing all facets of IT audit operations. Previously, Jim held the position of Chief Information Officer at Intercounty Clearance, managing various IT functions, and served as District Manager for Global Infrastructure Management at Lucent Technologies, where extensive budget and staff oversight was required. Jim’s career began at AT&T, where roles included Senior Internal Auditor focused on IT and business operations, alongside a managerial position in production support. Jim holds a Master’s degree in Management Science from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Rutgers University.
